My husband and I recently received care from Bay Regional Medical Center. He had a colonoscopy performed by Dr. Islam on December 6, 2011, and I had labwork done at the draw station in the Tuscola Medical Building. We received outstanding service and care on both occasions. I misplaced the names of the excellent nurses and student nurses who cared for him on December 6, but they were wonderful. At my lab visit this week, the registrar, Connie, was a delight to the patients early in the morning. On several previous occasions, we also received excellent care from BRMC. I’m sorry this is an informal email, but I wanted to share our satisfaction regarding the care and the staff. Bay City is fortunate to have BRMC. Thank you.

Vickie, Beckie and Andrea were great. They did therapy that helped what I needed. Marge Spencer and many others were very helpful and kind. Many others were very helpful and made my stay there a very good experience.

I am writing to let you know about my recent hospital stay. I haven’t received a phone call or a survey letter, but I was looking forward to receiving one.

I was an inpatient from December 29 through January 5 and I was on 4W. I couldn’t have asked for a more kinder and caring nursing staff. From the nurse who wrapped my arm in warm blankets after removing my IV (the site was moved five times) to the one who stopped by to see how I was doing even though I wasn’t her patient that night. There were two nurses who found me a more comfortable bed/mattress while I was away having a test. All the aides were wonderful and attentive.

I have never been in the hospital for a week and never really had any kind of illness that required that kind of attention. They made a new unwelcomed experience a lot more bearable for me.

I wanted to make sure someone knew about the great care I received during my stay.

Didn’t think I needed it, my son drove me nuts till I came, so glad I did, it helped me a lot. My arms and legs have gotten a lot stronger. Best thing I could have done. Great people and workers; couldn’t have asked for anything more.
